Service Staff:

The most important factor in maintaining and repairing your irrigation system is having a skilled and experienced technician, someone who knows the ins and outs of not just your system, but any system, both materials and design layouts alike. All sprinkler systems eventually need attention. Turf Tenders has invested time and money into our irrigation department and trained staff of experts. Our technicians treat each and every system they encounter as if it was their own.

Installation:

There are many components involved in a quality irrigation system installation:

- Evolutionary materials

- Design Structure

- Top quality controller units

- Rain sensors

- Progressive sprinkler heads

- Structurally strong and long lasting undergound piping

- Equal water supply distribution

- Warranted part

- Deliberate and meticulous step by step work

Over the past 20 years, Turf Tenders has tested and researched the top of the line irrigation brands on the market. You can be sure that we will install the finest materials at your home or office.

Sprinkler System Evaluation:

A trained and experienced irrigation technician will test all of the zones in your system, checking watering coverage, as well as monitoring each individual sprinkler head for proper function. The technician will assess the design of your system, inspecting for water drainage and run-off. This will allow for the technician to make adjustments where needed to limit over-saturation, which can suffocate your lawn. Our professional service technician will make adjustments to your clocks and heads, looking for leaks and broken parts. When the evaluation is complete our technician will run through your system with you, so that you can see it is working to its fullest potential. A properly working system reduces costs on your water bills.

Rain sensors are a money saver:

Turf Tenders started using a new style of rain sensor in 2002, and have been using this style since then, with much satisfaction for its efficient capabilities and performance. We use a wireless rain sensor that can be installed up to 300 ft. away from the control unit, which allows the technician to place the device high enough to receive ample sunlight, as well as better detection of rainfall. There are

several hydroscopic discs in the sensor that absorb moisture, and expand, sending a signal to the receiver mounted next to the control box/timer unit. The receiver then shuts off your irrigation system if it has rained and the lawn is too wet for additional watering. Once the sun comes out, the discs are dried and shrink back down to their normal size, which allows the system to operate on its normal run cycle. Wireless rain sensors can save you hundreds of dollars over the course of the year. If you have any questions call us today!
