Fertilizing

Properly fertilizing your grass is one of the most important tasks required to develop a thick green lawn.

Our eight-step program is as follows:

1. Early Spring Fertilizer
A complete balance of dry slow-release fertilizer for fast green-up

2. Spring Pre-Emergent
A complete balance of fertilizer with pre-emergent crabgrass control, and broad leaf weed control as needed

3. Late Spring Weed & Feed
A complete balance of liquid fertilizer and broadleaf weed control

4. Summer Fertilizer
A complete balance of dry slow-release fertilizer

5. Merit Grub Control
A preventative grub control to assure that grubs do not infest your turfgrass

6. Late Summer Weed & Feed
A complete balance of liquid fertilizer and broadleaf weed control

7. Fall Fertilizer
A complete balance of dry winter feeding fertilizer (promotes root development)

8. Fall Aeration
A mechanical process to breakdown thatch and soil compaction. Also promotes strong roots
